Coach Mike's Screenplay & Movie Review

Fellow writers and movie fans...I think we can all agree that Hollywood has taken a turn towards higher revenues and lower quality films. However, who is to blame? Producers, directors, writers? Remember, the movie business is a business. Let's discuss how to make better films without losing money and let us start with the screenplay. I encourage discussions on novel/comic book adaptation, coverage, funding, as well as want ads. Please post in the appropriate section and be civil at all times.

I've just finished my first screenplay based on true life experiences entitled "The Breaking Point". It's filled with pain, tragedy, psychology, and struggle. A talented child prodigy classical pianist growing up in the slums faces hard choices and is puhsed to the edge with nothing to turn to but crime. When the only thing pure in your life is your music he decides to channels his abilities towards the urban crowd. Filled with the revolutionary type of horror/action kick ass fight scenes, the gang related violence of Scarface, and the controversal rap lyrics of 8 Mile; this movie is bound to leave you filled with hope and aspirations.

Inspirational coming-of-age female driven sports drama centered around Charlotte (Charlie) Cooper, whose dreams of playing Olympic Soccer are dashed when her knee is shattered in a game. This is the story of how she reconstructs her life and her knee through the sport of Triathlons.

James Fargo ("Every Which way But Loose", "The Enforcer", etc..) is set to direct the project from a script cowritten by Mr. Fargo and Gary Sax.
